Arsenal are considering a raid on Barcelona wonderkid Pablo Moreno.

The Gunners lost youngster Marcus McGuane to Barca last week but are ready to hit back.

Mundo Deportivo reports they are eyeing a move for Moreno, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Moreno, 15, has appeared at Under-16 level for Spain and is the top scorer in his age group.

Petr Cech is optimistic he will win his race to be fit for the North London derby.

Goalkeeper Cech was forced off in the 70th minute of Arsenal’s 5-1 win against Everton with a calf problem.

He was replaced by David Ospina who was in line to stand in against Spurs at Wembley.

But Cech’s injury is not as serious as first thought and he believes he will recover in time to face Spurs.

Defender Nacho Monreal, who came off at half time against Everton due to illness, is also due to make a return training and declare himself ready to face Spurs on Saturday lunchtime.
