Liverpool have finally got their man.

Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a move for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita for months. The German club had initially rebuffed Liverpool's interest - but the Anfield giants have now agreed a deal.

Somewhat strangely, Keita will only join the club NEXT summer. Leipzig finally agreed to sell Keita to Liverpool for a premium on top of his £48million release-clause figure, which kicks in at the end of the season.

All of which means The Reds have just broken their club record for the Guinea star.

So, what will Liverpool be getting for their money?

Well here are 10 stats that show just why Keita is one of Europe's most highly-prized assets.

Only Ousmane Dembele (3.2) made more dribbles per game in the 2016/17 season than Keita's 2.7

He likes to run with it (

He made seven assists in the Bundesliga last season. No Liverpool player bar Georginio Wijnaldum (9) got more in the league

His eight league goals in 2016/17 can only be bettered by Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in the current Liverpool squad

In 31 Bundesliga appearances in 2016/17, he either scored or assisted a goal 15 times

Keita was named in the Bundesliga fans' team of the season for 2016/17, gaining more votes than anyone else bar Robert Lewandowski

And there's no shame in that (

WhoScored.com ranked him as the fifth best player in the Bundesliga last season, behind only Thiago Alcantara, Arjen Robben, Emil Forsberg and Lewandowski

He can defend, too. He made 80 tackles in the Bundesliga in 2016/17, the sixth-most in the division.
