Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure could join sister club New York City FC at the end of the season.
That is according to the Daily Star, who say the Ivorian is seen as a potential successor to Andrea Pirlo who will retire at the end of the current MLS campaign.
Toure was given a new one-year deal at City but has played just twice this term amid a clutch of competition in a midfield packed with talent.
Former Arsenal and Man City midfielder Patrick Vieira is in charge in the Big Apple.
