Manchester United appear closer than ever to landing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic with reports suggesting Lazio star Keita Balde is set to join the Nerazzurri.
The Red Devils have strongly pursued the Croatian international but Inter have stood firm on their valuation at £50m.
Balde has just one year to run on his contract with the Biancocelesti and had been thought to want Juventus above other interested clubs.
The 22-year-old has left Lazio's pre-season training camp, not featuring in today's friendly vs Top 11 Radio Club.
While Chelsea and Liverpool also registered their interest in the €20m-rated forward, Inter appear to be the front runners, which could allow the Serie A giants to release Perisic.
Jose Mourinho has identified two more signings this summer after landing Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku in big-money moves.
A physical winger with deadly accurate service is thought to be high on Mourinho's list of priorities with Perisic fitting the bill.
A deal is edging closer now though with Inter able to secure a replacement, which could mean the club soften their stance on their asking price.
