It's no secret that Jose Mourinho is a fan of Gareth Bale.

And the Manchester United boss hasn't given up on the hope that he could lure the Real Madrid star to Old Trafford, according to reports.

The Sun reports that Man United are going to make another move for the Welshmen in the next summer transfer window after Real showed no interest in off-loading him this time around.

The emergence of young Real stars such as Isco and Marco Asensio, among others, means Zinedine Zidane could be willing to let the big name forward go at a premier at the season's end.

Only time will tell.

Zlatan is named in Champions League squad

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been named in Manchester United's Champions League squad - raising the prospect of him figuring in the group stage, writes David McDonnel l.

Ibrahimovic, who has re-signed to United for another season, is continuing his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury that was expected to keep him out until January.

But the striker, who turns 36 next month, has been named in Jose Mourinho's 25-man squad submitted to UEFA, suggesting he could return to action earlier than expected.

Fellow forward James Wilson, who has just returned from a long injury lay-off himself, has also been named in the squad for the group games against Basel, Benfica and CSKA Moscow.
