Arsenal are stepping up their bid to sign Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto after scouting him for almost a year.

The Czech star, already dubbed the ‘new Rosicky’, has been a revelation this season at the age of just 21.

He has scored five goals and provided four assists in Serie A football and also has Napoli, Juventus and West Brom making overtures.

Arsenal first began tracking the player in the summer of 2016 and he has a release clause of around £6million.

The club are also keen on a move for RB Leipzig's Emil Fordberg.
