John Stones showcased his brand new tattoo of a middle-aged man wearing glasses in England's international friendly with Brazil.
And it's safe to say the Manchester City centre-back sparked some confusion among fans trying to work out who the portrait depicts.
Stones already sports a number of tattoos all over his body, including an incredible detailed image of his girlfriend Millie Savage.
His latest tattoo, which is positioned just above his knee, is equally detailed, but a little harder to work out who it is.
It has been reported that the tattoo depicts Barnsley legend Norman Rimmington, who passed away on December 26 last year at the age of 90.
Rimmington played for the Tykes - where Stones started his career - coached them and went on to become their kit man, earning himself the nickname Mr Barnsley.
Following his death Stones took to Instagram to post a picture of Rimmington alongside a heartfelt message.
Stones wrote: "Such sad news today about Norman Rimmington. A true gentleman, friend and legend has left us. You'll be dearly missed. RIP Rimmo."
But despite Stones' tattoo catching the eye at Wembley on Tuesday, the centre-back has in fact had it for some time.
The tattoo was visible on his leg as far back as late September, when Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Throwing the claim that the tattoo depicts Rimmington into doubt, is the fact that the face appears to be accompanied by that of a woman's.
It has been suggested that the black and white portrait could therefore depict family members of the England international.
