A Tottenham fan who urinated into a plastic pint cup and threw it at West Ham supporters has apologised - but claims it wasn't actually his wee in the container.

The video shows a man in the home section at Wembley relieving himself into a plastic container before it is launched at the away fans.

The man has been revealed as Lucas Louka and he claims the incident was a "prank gone wrong".

Louka insists that despite the obvious act in the video, he did in fact switch the cup of urine for a cup of cider before launching it over fellow fans.

"We switched it to a cup of cider while we were filming and that’s what I threw," Louka told the Sun. "It was just a bit of banter.

"It’s a prank gone wrong. I’ve probably let the club down but I want people to know it’s not what it seems."

Louka's mum was "shocked" by the unsavoury act and admitted Louka had been cautioned for jumping on the pitch and hugging Spurs stars Aaron Lennon and Darren Bent during a match.

But she jumped to her son's defense saying: "I’m shocked, he’s a good boy. He’s not a hooligan. He was cautioned for jumping on the pitch in 2008."

The Hammers had the last laugh as they progressed to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, where they will face Arsenal.

Spurs took a 2-0 lead in the tie but three second-half goals for the Hammers meant it was Slaven Bilic's side that took their place in the last eight.

A Tottenham spokesman said: "This behaviour is unacceptable and we are currently investigating and working to identify the individual responsible."
