Liverpool were forced to settle for a point on their return to the Champions League after blowing a 2-1 lead against Sevilla.

The Reds got off to a nightmare start when Wissam Ben Yedder pounced on an error by Dejan Lovren to put the visitors ahead.

But goals from Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah put Liverpool in charge, before Brazilian Firmino struck the post with a penalty.

That miss proved costly as Joaquin Correa sealed a point for Sevilla, before Joe Gomez was sent off late in the piece.
