Jesse Lingard has named a 5-a-side team made up of Manchester United players - and there's some surprise inclusions.

The 24-year-old has come into a patch of form recently, scoring against both Watford and Arsenal in his last two appearances.

As a result, Lingard told GOAL! he would pick himself. Surprisingly, there's no room for Anthony Martial, arguably Man United's most technically gifted dribbler, in the starting line up.

Red Devils top scorer Romelu Lukaku also fails to make the grade, while Eric Bailly, Nemanja Matic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are also left wanting.

Here's Lingard's team...

David De Gea

David De Gea is one of the greatest players in the world and proved as much with his heroic display against Arsenal on Saturday. This is no surpise.

Daley Blind

This, however, is a surprise. Lingard said the reason behind choosing Daley Blind was because he wanted someone who is "composed and assured".

Paul Pogba

The Frenchman is an obvious choice. Technical, strong and quick. Paul Pogba would be bagging goals as well as assists.

Jesse Lingard

"Obviously me," said Lingard. If he can replicate those performances against Arsenal and Watford then why not.

Marcus Rashford

Lingard snubs Martial and Lukaku in favour of Marcus Rashford, who he believes has "all the skills to beat a player and score".
