Chelsea will be without Eden Hazard for their clash with Stoke.

The Belgian has been struggling with a muscular injury and didn't travel with the rest of the squad on Friday night.

Antonio Conte admitted in his pre-match press conference that he had concerns over a couple of players for the trip to the Bet365 Stadium.

And one of those doubts was Hazard, who has had an excellent season.

The 26-year-old came in for some rough treatment from Manchester United during Monday's FA Cup win but it is believed he picked up the injury during training.

There had been doubts over Victor Moses but Conte confirmed he had trained and looks set to play.

Pedro, who was a substitute for the clash with United, is expected to come in for Hazard.

"It’s important to check a couple of situations and make the best decision tomorrow," Conte said on Friday.

"I prefer to keep for me, which are these couple of situations, but I think you understand the reasons."

Speaking ahead of the clash with Stoke, Conte also praised Cesc Fabregas who looks set to be recalled.

"Cesc, this season, is showing to be a great professional but, above all, a great player. I’m very pleased to see that in him, his commitment and work-rate," Conte said.

"This season he faced a new situation. Cesc, in the past, has always played every single game. It’s not easy to change."
