Chelsea fans have backed the club's decision to scrap Sunday's their Premier League victory parade in the wake of the Manchester terror attack.
The newly-crowned Champions’ players will instead make a donation to a victims’ support fund. They will also wear black armbands at Saturday's FA Cup Final at Wembley.
Dave Johnstone, founder of cfcuk fanzine said: "Some things are more important than football. All our thoughts should be somewhere else at this moment in time anyway.”
A Chelsea spokesman said: “Everyone associated with Chelsea Football Club offers our heartfelt condolences to those affected by Monday's terror attack in Manchester," said a club statement.
Arsenal have also said they will not stage a parade should they win the FA Cup. A screening of the match at the club's Emirates Stadium has been cancelled, with fans set to receive refunds.
The Gunners said: "We did not want to place any additional pressure on police and security services at this time and have been working closely with them ahead of making this decision.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis added: “As always, the safety of our supporters and staff is paramount and we are in close contact with security services.
“After taking their advice we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the screening and potential parade."
