Antonio Conte was left frustrated as his Chelsea side failed to find a decisive goal against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
David Luiz was shown a straight red card in the dying embers of the 0-0 draw as the two sides tried to grab the game by the scruff of the neck.
Both teams had a chance to win the derby in regulation time, but in the end a share of the spoils was a fair result.
Here's how John Cross rated the individual performances:
Chelsea
Courtois 6
For all of Arsenal’s pressure, didn’t have too many saves apart from two good blocks.
Azpilicueta 7
Good pace and power of recovery allowed him to snuff out danger from Arsenal.
Luiz 6
Booked. Got straight red for appalling challenge on Kolasinac. Ruined good display.
Cahill 6
His first Premier League game since opening day red card, very solid in defence
Moses 7
Is battling hard for his place under new pressure from Zappacosta, did very well.
Kante 7
Great energy in Chelsea’s midfield, got forward and defended with equal determination.
Fabregas 7
Played in advanced role to try and unlock Arsenal defence. Some nice passing.
Alonso 6
Below his normal high tempo, was closed down and didn’t provide much threat.
Willian 7
Worked very hard, had a good game and looked understandably upset when substituted.
Pedro 6
Substituted early after taking several heavy whacks, switch also beefed up midfield.
Morata 6
Did not get much of a look-in as he was kept quiet by Mustafi.
Substitutes
Bakayoko, for Pedro, 46 mins, 6
Hazard, for Willian, for 69mins, 7
Christensen, for Morata, 89
Arsenal
Cech 7
Important early save from Pedro and a brilliant late one from Hazard. Excellent.
Koscielny 7
Strong and combative on the right of a back three, always committed.
Mustafi 8
MotM. Great battle with Morata, he played so well, marshalled the defence and dug in.
Monreal 6
Solid in defence, spotted danger and had another impressive game in the back three.
Bellerín 7
Very good performance, particularly in the first half. His pace is vital for Arsenal.
Ramsey 7
Good runs from midfield, hit the post with one great effort, played well overall.
Xhaka 7
His passing was much more disciplined, good distribution and worked hard.
Kolasinac 7
Sets a good tone with his determination and strength. Another good game.
Welbeck 7
Should have scored with early headed chance, worked hard. Came off injured.
Iwobi 7
Offered more urgency and intensity than Ozil does in some away games. Did well.
Lacazette 6
Worked so hard, missed a big chance and got substituted early. Did OK.
Substitutes
Sanchez, for Lacazette, 66 mins, 6
Giroud, for Welbeck, 73 mins, 6
Elneny, for Iwobi, 80 mins
