November got off to an inauspicious start for Arsenal , although Gunners fans were probably expecting that.

Over the years, the club's fans have grown to dread turning the calendar over from October, with the ghosts of Halloween seemingly extending into the 11th month of the year and haunting Arsene Wenger and his side.

And after the goalless draw with Red Star Belgrade - a result which admittedly secured qualification to the next round of the Europa League - fans will be worried that the same thing is happening again.

During Wenger's 21 years in charge, Arsenal have won 37, drawn 18 and lost 26 of the 81 November Premier League matches they've played, which comes out at just 1.6 points per game.

And with Manchester City on the immediate horizon and Tottenham to come after the international break, this is a month which doesn't look like getting any easier.

Here's how the Gunners fared in their last 10 Novembers.
