The January transfer window has only just opened and already Arsenal are in talks to complete a deal for a new acquisition.
Greece wonderkid Konstantinos Mavropanos is due in London to negotiate a £2.2million move from PAS Giannina.
It's all very promising from an Arsenal point of view. After all, Arsene Wenger is sometimes criticised for failing to identify positions that need to be strengthened, and for failing to sign adequate players.
He's also been accused of not acting quickly enough in the past - something that is vital at the moment, considering the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
But it seems despite all this, Gunners supporters are not particularly happy with the club's first bit of business this transfer window.
Mavropanos might be a great prospect, and a player that, deep down, every Arsenal fan will be pleased to sign.
It's just he's not yet the finished product, and there are already plans in place to loan the 20-year-old out for the rest of the season, with Werder Bremen ready to poise.
It seems what Arsenal supporters want right now is a marquee signing. A player to reassure the fanbase that things will be OK post-Sanchez and Ozil.
And well, they're not particularly happy that Mavropanos appears to be yet another work in progress.
