Anthony Martial has not been included in the France squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The Manchester United forward has had an excellent start to the season and found the net again in the win over CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.

He limped off in Russia and has been left out by Didier Deschamps for the matches against Bulgaria and Belarus.

United fans will be delighted with his exclusion with the Red Devils facing Liverpool after the international break.

In-form Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been recalled, alongside Dimitri Payet and Raphael Varane.

Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny are in, alongside N'Golo Kante and Hugo Lloris.

Meanwhile, Didier Deschamps has hailed Kylian Mbappe after his stunning start to life at PSG.

"He does everything very quickly. Without throwing flowers at him, what he is capable of doing is incredible. It does not justify the price of a transfer, but he is capable of doing things that are out of the ordinary," he said.
