Liverpool's season took a turn for the worse after news broke of Sadio Mane's injury.

The Reds star, who has been in terrific form this season, has been ruled out for six weeks after injuring his hamstring during Senegal's World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde.

It's a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp who has a number of key fixtures coming up - including Manchester United at home this weekend.

The 25-year-old has already begun rehab and Anfield medics are hoping he will respond quickly to treatment to reduce his recovery period and perhaps stand an outside chance of making the clash against Chelsea on November 25.
