Arsenal have reportedly been handed a triple boost ahead of their clash with north London rivals Tottenham.

The Gunners have a number of fitness concerns in the lead-up to the Wembley clash, with Nacho Monreal, Petr Cech and Danny Welbeck all fighting to return in time to feature.

Both Monreal and Cech were forced off in Arsenal’s 5-1 defeat of Everton at the weekend which will have been worrying for Arsene Wenger ahead of the north London derby.

Monreal was replaced at half-time after suffering with an illness, while Cech was substituted in the 70th minute after taking a kick to his calf.

Despite initial fears over the duo, The Evening Standard suggests both players will have recovered in time to take on Spurs.

Meanwhile, Welbeck is also closing in on his first-team return and could be in line to make an appearance on Satruday afternoon.

The England forward has been on the sidelines since sustaining a hip injury in mid-January but could re-join the main group this week.
