Chelsea fans have once again vented their frustration in the direction of Tiemoue Bakayoko after Wednesday’s shock 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth.
Following a goalless first-half in west London, Callum Wilson fired the Cherries ahead in the 51st minute after Bakayoko, who signed from Monaco last summer, was dispossessed in the middle of the pitch.
Winger Junior Stanislas doubled Bournemouth’s lead shortly after as he slotted past Thibaut Courtois after being played through by Wilson.
Three minutes later, former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake – who joined Bournemouth on a permanent deal last June – was on hand to poke home from a corner.
It was the first time Chelsea have conceded three goals in a Premier League game since the opening day of the season, when they were beaten 3-2 by Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
Few players came out of the fixture having enhanced their reputation but Chelsea fans were particularly critical of Bakayoko, who is struggling to adapt to the Premier League after three impressive years at Monaco.

Chelsea’s defeat was their sixth of the 2017-18 Premier League campaign and ensures they slip below Liverpool into fourth place.
Antonio Conte’s side, now 18 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, face Watford on Monday.
