Lucas Moura’s entourage are keen for the winger to complete a move to Liverpool, according to reports in France.

The 25-year-old has scored 45 goals in 228 appearances for PSG since joining the Ligue 1 giants back in 2013 but the winger has had limited game-time following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

Jose Mourinho is expressing a strong interest in Lucas and PSG are understood to be looking to sell the highly-rated Brazil international before the January transfer window shuts.

However, French outlet Le Parisien suggests Lucas’ entourage are ‘thinking very hard’ about a move to Anfield, but negotiations are yet to begin.

The Merseyside giants, of course, lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for a fee of £142million and are on the hunt for a replacement.

It’s understood PSG demanding a fee of £35-40m for Lucas, though, which could put off potential suitors.

Asked about transfer speculation back in October, the Brazilian told UOL Esporte: ‘I am concentrating on improving my physical performance.

‘Whatever the situation with the national team, that is Tite’s decision. I need to concentrate on improving at PSG.

‘The season began in a difficult way for me, but my aim is to win back my starting place and the great moments that I had last year.’
