Manchester United fans reacted angrily to Marcus Rashford’s performance against Leicester City and raged over his decision to ignore striker partner Romelu Lukaku.
The 20-year-old replaced Anthony Martial late in the second half at the King Power Stadium and fluffed a one-on-one, though perhaps should have been awarded a penalty after he was brought down by Kasper Schmeichel.
It was his involvement just seconds before Leicester’s last-gasp equaliser that really annoyed United fans, however, with Rashford spurning the chance to square the ball to Lukaku to kill the game.
To make matters worse, Rashford did not even run down to the corner flag, simply stopping still as United ceded possession moments later.
Rashford ignored Lukaku in an almost identical situation in United’s shock Carabao Cup exit to Bristol City, and supporters were all saying the same thing on social media…
