Both Arsenal and Huddersfield were involved in tight, dramatic contests in the Premier League at the weekend but will be coming into their clash on Wednesday night with contrasting confidence levels given their very different results.

The Gunners snatched a very late 1-0 win away at Burnley, thanks to an Alexis Sanchez penalty, whilst Huddersfield lost a lead to lose 2-1 at home to Manchester City.

Arsene Wenger’s side moved up to fourth thanks to that win, whilst the Terriers fell to 11th in the table and edge closer to being sucked into the relegation battle.

This is the first league meeting between the sides since January 1972 when Arsenal won 1-0 thanks to a goal from George Armstrong.
