Tottenham striker Harry Kane is a major doubt for his side’s trip to Manchester United on Saturday.

The 24-year-old came off during his side’s 4-1 win against Liverpool at Wembley last Sunday and was seen holding the back of his leg.

Mauricio Pochettino originally dismissed fears about a hamstring injury by claiming Kane was suffering with cramp and the striker was left out of Spurs’ squad for their 3-2 defeat against West Ham on Wednesday.

However, the Argentine boss admitted he feared for Kane’s recovery after the match, replying: ‘We’ll see’ when asked if Kane would be fit for Saturday.

Fernando Llorente was removed 20 minutes from time on Wednesday because Pochettino knows he will need the Spaniard on Saturday and the Daily Mirror claim he is in line to start.

Kane’s absence will come as a huge boost for Manchester United as the England international is the league’s most in-form player.

The forward already has 13 goals to his name this term and grabbed a brace against Liverpool last weekend.

Meanwhile, United are expected to reintroduce Eric Bailly to their starting XI after the defender returned to first-team training on Thursday.
