Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic has responded to rumours he could be set for a transfer move to Liverpool.

Pulisic, 18, has scored eight goals in 54 appearances for Dortmund since his debut for the Bundesliga giants but the highly-rated attacking midfielder has consistently been linked with the Reds since his breakthrough at the Westfalenstadion.

Jurgen Klopp worked very closely with Pulisic at Dortmund and has made no secret of his admiration for the promising United States international.

With Philippe Coutinho reportedly set for a big-money Barcelona switch, Pulisic has been mentioned as a possible replacement for the Brazilian but the youngster has ruled out a move to Anfield.

‘I am very happy in Dortmund,’ Pulisic told German outlet SPORTBILD.

‘Yes, I read them [Liverpool rumours] too. What more can I say? I concentrate fully on the start of the season.

‘Last season, I established myself in Dortmund with a European top club, which was always my dream as a little boy. My next goal is to play constantly.’
