Chelsea are willing to offer Danny Rose a salary of around £120,000-a-week to convince him to move to Stamford Bridge.

The England defender is unhappy with his £60,000-a-week deal with Tottenham and the Blues are willing to double his money for a move across London, according to the Evening Standard.

Rose hit out at Spurs in an exploisve interview last week in which he questioned the club’s pay structure and they’re ability to attract star names.

The 27-year-old said he would ‘consider’ offers from rival clubs and Chelsea have upped their interest in recent days.

Antonio Conte’s men will reportedly table a £50m bid for Rose after Sunday’s clash with Spurs at Wembley.

Spurs remain depserate to keep Rose but Chelsea’s wage offer would prove tempting for the former Leeds man.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are believed to value Rose at around £50million but are unlikely to agree to a deal with Chelsea having allowed Kyle Walker to join Manchester City earlier in the window.
