Arsenal ace Shkodran Mustafi is a serious doubt for the Gunners’ FA Cup final clash against Chelsea with the German reported to be suffering with concussion.
Mustafi, 25, suffered a head injury in Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Sunderland in midweek but managed to finish the match at the Emirates.
The German was left out out of Arsene Wenger’s side for the 3-1 win against Everton on Sunday in what proved to be a costly victory for the Gunners.
Laurent Koscielny was sent off for a nasty challenge on Enner Valencia and Gabriel Paulista picked up a ‘serious’ injury, according to Wenger.
Mustafi was therefore likely to start in the Wembley showpiece but he’s unlikely to make it, according to the BBC.
Wenger could be forced into a formation change if the trio all miss out. The Gunners have been operating in a 3-4-3 in recent weeks but he could revert back to a 4-3-3 system.
