Manchester City provided another display of their attacking power as Pep Guardiola's side won 3-2 at West Brom to stay five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Manchester United put pressure on City with a 1-0 win over fellow title hopefuls Tottenham earlier on City, but Fernandinho set up Leroy Sane after 10 minutes to hand Guardiola's men an early lead at The Hawthorns.

Tony Pulis' Baggies struck back within three minutes as Jay Rodriguez levelled for the hosts, but their joy was short-lived as Fernandinho then scored one himself two minutes later.

Pulis suggested before the match that Guardiola currently has the best team in Europe, and Raheem Sterling finished off a superb flowing move with 26 minutes left on the clock.

Matt Phillips scored late on to give City a scare, but the visitors held on to retain their dominant advantage of the title race after just 10 games.
