Tottenham star Dele Alli says it’s a "pleasure" to play alongside playmaker Christian Eriksen and has hailed his Danish teammate as a "magician".
The former Ajax man, who has laid on the assist for a third of Alli’s 33 Spurs goals, set up his – and Tottenham’s – third goal of the season at the weekend, whipping in the free-kick from which Michy Batshuayi headed home an early goal.
And speaking ahead of Sunday’s defeat to Chelsea, Alli said of the 25-year-old: “He’s an unbelievable player with fantastic technique, he’s a bit of a magician.
“You just know that as soon as he puts his head down to deliver the ball he’s going to put it where he wants it to go, so it’s down to you to make sure you get into the right position.

“Christian’s technique is so good, the ball will go exactly where he sees the space, so if you make sure you attack it at the right time then you’re going to get chances at goal.
“He’s got a lot more to his game as well, he’s got a great strike on him, keeps the ball moving all the time and is a fantastic player.
“It’s a pleasure to play alongside him.”
The England international will be hoping that Eriksen is once again on form this Sunday when Burnley are the visitors at Wembley as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to get the national stadium hoodoo off their back with a win.
