Alexis Sanchez has been left on the bench for Arsenal's London derby clash against Chelsea as Arsene Wenger has omitted Mesut Ozil from his travelling squad.

Sanchez started the Gunners' Europa League clash with Cologne on Thursday night - scoring a goal as Arsenal secured a 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium - but will not start at Stamford Bridge due to, in part, a lack of match fitness.

Ozil, who was rested against Cologne, hasn't made Wenger's squad after sustaining a knee problem this week.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has opted to keep Eden Hazard on the bench for the London derby following his slow re-integration into the first team.

The Belgian has been eased back on into action by Conte with two substitute appearances following ankle surgery at the start of the summer.

Cesc Fabregas gets his chance to shine in midfield after being named in the starting XI while David Luiz and Victor Moses return to Conte's line-up.
