Woodburn features as Wales secure vital win in Georgia
Ben Woodburn made a late appearance from the bench as Wales recorded a vital 1-0 win away in Georgia on Friday evening.
The Liverpool youngster replaced Welsh hero Tom Lawrence, who had netted the only goal of the contest for Chris Coleman’s side, in the 90th minute of the World Cup qualifier in Tbilisi.
Anfield teammate Danny Ward remained an unused substitute.
Wales next face a home clash with the Republic of Ireland in another vital World Cup qualifier on Monday night at the Cardiff City Stadium.
