TWO years ago Burnley got their first away win of the Premier League season when they triumphed 2-1 at Saturday's opponents Stoke City.
Wouldn't it be nice if history could repeat itself this weekend at the Bet365 Stadium?
In the 2014/15 campaign Burnley had only recorded their first win of the season in the fixture before the trip to Stoke, but they made it two in a row thanks to a lightning fast start and a brilliant second half rearguard.
Sean Dyche's side were two goals to the good inside 13 minutes, with Danny Ings scoring twice from close range in little more than a minute to send the travelling fans behind that goal delirious with delight.
Stoke tried to respond to that early double blow and they halved the deficit when Jon Walters found the back of the net with a diving header in the 32nd minute.
It was all Stoke in the second half but the Clarets produced a defensive masterclass to weather the storm, with Michael Keane coming off the bench with 14 minutes to go for only his second appearance in a Burnley shirt.
