      Hope we get Young Boys.

Am i allowed to say that? I can hear sirens in the distance...

      :lmao:

I want Steaua, always makes a good game when you can play a former winner of the European Cup and also sure a couple of their scarves will pop up at the next derby to remind the yokels at Goodison who actually won the European Cup in 1986!!

In reality we should be, with the greatest of respect to those teams on that list, have no worries beating most of them.

Kick off ideally, or at 90 mins plus injury time in the away leg

The draw pots for Friday's Champions League playoff round draw can be confirmed after the latest qualifying ties were completed on Wednesday.

Sevilla, Napoli and Liverpool were already certain to be seeds in the league route -- the half of the draw for clubs who qualified but did not win their domestic championship -- before this week's games, and are now joined by CSKA Moscow and Sporting Lisbon.

They will be kept apart in the draw and paired against one of the five unseeded clubs: FCSB (Steaua Bucharest), Young Boys, Nice, Hoffenheim and Istanbul Basaksehir

The failure of neither Ajax or Dynamo Kiev to make it through the third qualifying round meant CSKA Moscow and Sporting were promoted to be seeded.

The draw will be made at 11 a.m. BST, 6 a.m. ET on Friday, with the two-legged ties to be played on Aug 15-16 and 22-23.

Champions League playoffs - League Route

Seeded clubs: Sevilla, Napoli, Liverpool, CSKA Moscow, Sporting Lisbon

Unseeded clubs: FCSB, Young Boys, Hoffenheim, Nice, Istanbul Basaksehir

Celtic will be seeded in the champions half of the draw after winning away to Rosenborg in the second leg of their third qualifying tie. The pots are as follows.

Champions League playoffs - Champions Route

Seeded clubs: Olympiakos, Celtic, FC Copenhagen, APOEL Nicosia, NK Maribor

Unseeded clubs: Qarabag FK, Hapoel Beer-Sheva, Slavia Prague, Astana, NK Rijeka

Don't care who we get, we'll batter anyone in that draw  I'm more looking forward to the proper draw for the league stage.

Agree with this, but would kind of like to run up a big score against Balotelli.

No I'd like to avoid him if possible, you just know that that would be the 2 games where he turns on the razzle dazzle

Maybe, but the possibility of shutting him down for two matches, winningby a big score and Klopp running into the stand after the return leg to give his agent a big hug, is too enticing.

Anyone for a Bobby Firmino winner against his old team if we face Hoffenheim?

If the scores in the 3rd minute of a 4-0 win in the opening leg, sure.

That would do very nicely, Barca , RB Fuckstick, Royal Madrid, Bayern Munchen, NONE of them fear me, i Believe we can give anyone massive problems, i want them to fear us, or at the very least give them major concerns, i think we will see a very compact unit under Klopp in Europe with the capacity to strike at a seconds notice, we  have the pace, the guile and the hunger, add the quality of Coutinho, Salah, Firmino, Mane, Sturridge, and a solid back 4, hopefully with Matip/VVD as the anchor's,

it's a huge season for our keepers, in particular Karius, i have a feeling Jürgen may use Karius for the European campaign and Migs for the domestic challenge, we may even see Danny Ward used in cup comps too,
for Karius it's make or break season, he has to make his mark so as to secure his future with LFC,

Jürgen brought him here for a reason, i think through time he will become our no1, but he has to prove himself by being consistent and the only way to become consistent is to have a run of games, that will happen this season i believe, especially if he performs well in Europe, he could become our main stopper earlier than we think,

really can't wait for this draw today, i'm desperate to know who our first victims will be, whoever it may be, their fu**ed, cos there is no way are we not going into the main draw.

      BRING IT ON !!!!!
