Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared to give his shirt away to a young pitch invader following Manchester United’s Europa League win at Zorya Luhansk on Thursday.

After Ibrahimovic's late goal in Odessa doubled United's tally and secured progression to the knockout stages, one young fan could not help but run onto the pitch to meet his hero.

According to Swedish outlet Fotboll, Ibrahimovic made the young fan's evening by handing him his match-worn shirt after the final whistle, despite security attempting to escort the boy off the pitch.

Viewers were unable to witness Ibrahimovic's gesture as it was not caught be television cameras, but one photographer managed to capture the moment.

Ibrahimovic has recovered from a difficult barren spell and played his way back into form of late under the management of Jose Mourinho.

The 35-year-old Swede scored just once in 11 games from mid-September to early November, but has now scored five goals in his last four, as he attempts to justify United's plans to extend his one-year contract with the club.

Ibrahimovic, who joined United on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, has now notched 13 times in 22 appearances across all competitions and looks likely to enjoy an impressive debut season at Old Trafford.
