Paul Pogba has fuelled speculation that his move back to Manchester United is on the brink of being sealed, after he posted an edited image on Instagram using colours that suggested he will soon be back at Old Trafford.

Pogba's world record breaking switch from Juventus to United has been the big talking point of this summer transfer window so far, with the €120m deal under discussion for several weeks.

Reports have claimed that delays over the fee agent Mino Raiola is entitled to receive for setting up the transfer have been a stumbling block that has held up confirmation of the move.

Now Pogba has used his Instagram account to build up the hype around his future in recent days, with an image featuring his jovial agent earlier this week giving a hint that they will have something to smile about very soon.

In a move that has got United fans getting very excited on Twitter, the French midfielder has posted an image that shows him stood next to an extensive spots car as he reaches the end of his holiday in America, with the red colour used in the image very similar to United's distinctive shirts.

Pogba is believed to have agreed a contract to return to United, four years after he left the Old Trafford club following a contract dispute between his agent and then manager Alex Ferguson.
