Man Utd to make De Gea highest-paid player


Manchester United are ready to give David de Gea a massive raise in an attempt to fend off interest from Real Madrid, according to The Sun

Madrid are still circling for the 27-year-old and with De Gea's contract set to expire in 2019, the Red Devils want to offer a new deal to lock down their prized goalkeeper. 

Man Utd reportedly plan to up De Gea's £210,000-a-week wages to £300,000-a-week, making him the club's joint highest-paid player along with Paul Pogba. 


Real Madrid turn attention to Neymar

Real Madrid have turned their attentions towards signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Marca .

Los Blancos feel that they need an injection of Galactico quality in their squad and are eyeing their first superstar signing since James Rodriguez arrived in 2014.

They do not believe that it is a move possible, however, before the summer of 2019, by which time they may be prepared to use Cristiano Ronaldo as a makeweight in any deal.

Levy insists Kane and Alli won't leave

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has laid down a marker to Real Madrid, insisting that neither Harry Kane nor Dele Alli will be leaving the club if Spurs wish that they stay.

Kane and Alli have both been linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, with Kane especially targeted by Madrid. 

But Levy says Tottenham are under no pressure to sell as they move into their new stadium for the start of 2018-19.
