The Belgian was checking out the pitch at the new Wanda Metropolitano stadium ahead of the Blues’ match with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League tonight.

He made his first start of the season against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup last week as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury at the end of last season.

And he was rested by Antonio Conte during last weekend’s 4-0 win at Stoke, coming on only for the last 18 minutes.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is still making his way back from an ankle injury

But that precaution could have been blown out of the water as video revealed the forward dancing about on the Madrid turf.

In the clip Hazard starts jogging off the pitch before jumping up and kicking his ankles together.

He does it a second time as he crosses the touchline and heads for the dressing room.

“Careful with that ankle mate,” warned one worried Chelsea fan.

Another added: “Good to see him fit.”

But Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas believes Hazard won’t start tonight and Chelsea will get beaten.
