Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku says it is time for the club's fans to 'move on' from their controversial chant.

United supporters have came under-fire after creating a song to the tune of the Stone Roses' track, Made Of Stone.

The lyrics include a reference to the size of Lukaku's penis.

Anti-discrimination group Kick It Out have described the lyrics as "offensive and discriminatory".

"Great backing since I joined #MUFC," Lukaku said on United's official Twitter account.

"Fans have meant well with their songs but let's move on together."

The tweet ends: "#RespectEachOther".

Jose Mourinho is unhappy with Frenchman Paul Pogba.

That’s according to The Sun, who say the United boss has ordered the 23-year-old to take ten days off.

The midfielder is expected to be on the sidelines for at least a month following a hamstring injury.

Mourinho, who signed Pogba from Juventus last summer, wants his star man to have a break before starting his recovery.

A source told the publication: “Paul is being given some time off before he steps up his rehab from a hamstring injury.

“He has another scan soon, but the injury has to settle down first and then a full assessment can be made."

Mourinho is reportedly unhappy with Pogba after he ignored the club's advice after suffering the injury.

Marcus Rashford may leave Old Trafford in search of more first-team football.

That’s according to pundit Micky Quinn.

Rashford, 19, has started four Premier League games under Jose Mourinho this season.

But Romelu Lukaku has lead the line for United, leaving Rashford stuck out on the wing.

And Quinn says Rashford, who has netted five goals in all competitions this season, could leave Manchester in order to find a team who will play him down the middle.

“It’s going to be tough, with Lukaku knocking in goals left, right and centre,” Quinn told talkSPORT.

“You’ve got Zlatan (Ibrahimovic) coming back as well, so where’s he going to fit in?

“Is he going to play wide? But I think that’s his position, centrally."

Rashford netted twice as Mourinho's men cruised past Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
