Ex-England boss Sam Allardyce expects Manchester United to win the Premier League

The Special One’s glittering experience from every country and major competition he managed in will take him to yet another big trophy, according to the ex-England boss.

United finished sixth last season in Mourinho’s debut campaign and won the EFL Cup as well as the Europa League, which led them straight to the Champions League this term.

But the ex-Chelsea gaffer’s signing of Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic could lead to even bigger and better things.

Allardyce told talkSPORT: “Jose has done it before and he has done it many different countries. He knows how to do it.

"He knows when and where to change his tactics, to change how the team plays. You have seen it many times.

"He started the process of being a Jose team last year when they were a whisker away from being a lot better than they finished.

“There were too many draws and not enough wins and it looks like he has cured their problem – they didn’t score enough goals and their goal record and attack is far better now."

Manchester United have so far won all of their first three matches in the top flight and have scored a total of 10 goals.

Mourinho’s side will take on Stoke on Saturday at the Bet365 Stadium.
