That’s the view of former Reds defender Dominic Matteo.

The England international snubbed Chelsea on deadline day in favour of a move to Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, 24, penned a five-year contract with Liverpool after turning down a new deal at Arsenal.

And Matteo reckons the midfielder will shine under Klopp at Liverpool.

“He’s got a lot of experience for a young lad,” Matteo told Sky Sports.

“He’s had a lot of years at Arsenal. He’s played at a big club so he knows what that’s all about.

“I think he will enjoy it, I think he will love working under Jurgen Klopp.

“I think Liverpool will bring the best out of him.

“I think he’s a good young talent, I think there’s things in his game he needs to work on like every player.

“I think for me personally Jurgen Klopp is the one to bring the best out of him.”

Oxlade-Chamberlain could make his Liverpool debut against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds have had a fine start to the season, with Klopp’s men finding themselves second in the Premier League table behind Manchester United.
