Ozil marked the fourth anniversary of his move to the Gunners by issuing a heartfelt message, asking his critics to “stop talking and start supporting”.
The 28-year-old also referenced the three FA Cups and three Community Shield wins during his spell.
But Morgan was not impressed by Ozil’s words.
And the celebrity Gooner said: “My advice to you, Mr Ozil, is to stop boasting about meaningless trophies & start working harder for this chronically underperforming team.”
Ozil, who joined Arsenal from Real Madrid for £42.5m, has entered the final year of his contract.
He is stalling on an extension and could walk out on a free transfer next summer.
Arsenal have endured a nightmare start to the season, losing two of their three league games.
A 4-0 defeat at Liverpool saw them head into the international break sitting 16th in the Premier League table.
Ozil was one of a number of players criticised in the Anfield loss and, writing on Facebook, he said: “Personally I’ve had to accept a lot of criticism during my time in London.
“‘Too expensive, too greedy, bad body language, and lacking fight’ - this is what people have said about me.
“Some of these comments are made by those who do not know me, some are made by former players - both successful and unsuccessful during their time here at the club.
“Although criticism is something that all football players have to deal with, I nevertheless expected legends to behave like legends - my advice to these former Gunners: stop talking and start supporting!”
