Aaron Ramsey Instagram: Arsenal star pays tribute to Oxlade-Chamberlain

Ramsey posted a tribute to 'The Ox' on Instagram after the England international's £35m move to Liverpool was confirmed earlier today.

He reminisced about playing alongside his pal at the Emirates.

"Not only have we lost a great player, we’ve lost a great guy in the changing room an it is sad to see you go mate.

"Had some great memories over the years playing alongside you and I wish you all the best with this new chapter in your life. #theOX #Shaaambles."

The "shaaambles" hashtag is believed to refer to Oxlade-Chamberlain's nickname, rather than being a comment on Arsenal's dealings.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's £35m move to Liverpool was confirmed at midday today.

He rejected Liverpool to sign for the Kop club on a five-year deal.

After completing the switch, the 24-year-old said: “After six years, three FA Cup wins and countless incredible memories, the time has come for me to move on from Arsenal.

"I want to publicly thank Arsene, the coaching and club staff and my amazing team mates for all of the incredible opportunities I have been given.

"Thank you so much to you, the fans, who have always had my back - I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.

"The club, and my time here, will always mean a massive amount to me.

"I know my choice might come as a surprise to many, and the decision to leave was tough after being a part of the club for so many years, but I feel that this move is right for the next stage in my ongoing development.”
