The 22-year-old took the massive decision to leave champions Chelsea and start afresh at Watford.
He made a £5m switch to The Hornets in the summer and says getting the call into the national squad already justifies his decision.
Chalobah was sent out on loan six times – taking in Watford, Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Burnley, Reading and Serie A giants Napoli.
Now he’s finally put the suitcase away and is raring to show that he can cut it in the Premier League on a regular basis.
Chalobah said: “This was an opportunity for me to showcase myself. It was a difficult decision.
"I'm grateful for the opportunities Chelsea gave me. It's a difficult place to get into the team and there's a lot of pressure to win games. To chuck a youngster in is not an easy decision.
"As always I tried to stay focused and concentrated.
'Chelsea is in the past now."
