That's according to the well informed PSG account on Twitter, Parisunited6.
They claim the right back is likely to join United - but the outcome of his trial will dictate whether he is allowed to come to England or not.
Aurier was banned from entering the UK due to a conviction for assault.
In September he was found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a Paris nightclub.
It meant he missed PSG’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates last term and that United face an anxious wait to get the deal done.
Aurier has appealed the conviction and a hearing scheduled for August 7 is key to whether or not his travel restrictions are lifted.
Last night @Parisunited6 tweeted: "Aurier agrees with Man U in anticipation of a favourable outcome to his trial.
"Authorised by the PSG to negotiate with other clubs."
On Saturday the account claimed Mino Raiola was helping in the negotiations.
They tweeted: "Raiola was close to Stephane Courbis [Aurier's agent].
"#Aurier transfer to Man U [dependent on] trial (07/08).
"The negotiations are continuing."
United have been linked with the 24-year-old for years but could finally be close to doing a deal.
The right-back is surplus to requirements in the French capital following the arrival of Dani Alves on a free transfer.
