That's the view of Brazil boss Tite.

The Liverpool star has been linked with a move to the Nou Camp this season.

Barca are expected to splash the cash at the end of the season following the arrival of their new manager.

Coutinho, 24, has been in fine form for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp.

The Brazil international has netted 15 goals and chipped in with four assists in all competitions, helping Liverpool secure a top four finish.

However, Tite reckons Coutinho's future could like at the Nou Camp instead of Anfield.

When asked if it's logical that Barca want Coutinho, Tite told Spanish newspaper Sport: "Yes. Absolutely.

"I do not want to have the pretension to comment on Barca, but who does not want a player like Coutinho with that magic, with that capacity for invention and creation, change of pace, triangulation, game built?"

Tite was then asked what position Coutinho would play at the Nou Camp, with the Brazil chief claiming he would be the perfect attacking midfielder for Barca.

"I'm always talking hypothetically, let's make that clear," he added.

"There have Sergio Busquets and the two midfielders, what in Italy they call 'mezzalas' (half wingers/attackers) that are Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta, that are the two thinkers of the side.

"Coutinho can play in that role. He is an ideal player for Barca."
