The Algeria international, 19, joined the Gunners from cash-strapped Arles two years ago.
And he was given his senior debut months later, coming on as a substitute against Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup.
Bennacer was handed the captaincy of Arsenal’s Under-23s side before heading to Tours on loan in January.
And he racked up 16 appearances for Gilbert Zoonekynd’s Ligue 2 side, including 14 starts.
Bennacer has now opened up on his plans for next season in an interview with Onze Mondial.
And he’s revealed he’d be interested in a temporary switch to France or Spain.
Asked about his future, Bennacer said: "I have not decided yet. I have an appointment with Arsene Wenger to make an assessment with him.
"I, in my head, would like to be loaned out for another year to continue gaining playing time.
"I am patient, but I also come to an important moment of my career. I cannot afford to play in the U23s.
"If I can be lent a year in Ligue 1 or La Liga, that would be good for my progression."
Bennacer’s parent club, meanwhile, wrap up their campaign when they face Chelsea in Saturday’s FA Cup final.
