Arsenal are looking to sign in demand striker Henry Onyekuru

Onyekuru, currently plying his trade with Belgian side KAS Eupen, has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in recent weeks.

The 19-year-old has been hugely impressive since making his professional debut in 2015 and speculation about his future is building ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

Arsenal are in negotiations to sign Onyekuru, Sky Sports claim.

It is said that he is a massive fan of the Gunners and it is his dream to play at the Emirates.

The forward, who has a £6.8m release clause, is the top scorer in Belgium this season.

He has netted 22 goals this term despite playing in a struggling Eupen side.

Onyekuru has attracted interest from several other English sides recently.

The Mirror said last week that Southampton, Everton, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough have all been keeping tabs on him.

They claimed that the youngster is expected to move on from Eupen this summer.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal want Henry Onyekuru

Celtic came close to snapping up Onyekuru in January but they failed to strike an agreement.

The starlet has also snubbed moves to Club Brugge and Anderlecht and is most interested in a move to the Premier League.

Onyekuru recently revealed that a number of clubs across Europe have been in touch with him over a summer deal.

He said in April: "Clubs in England, Spain, Scotland and Germany have contacted me but I’m focused on my game."
