This time last year he hadn’t even made a senior debut for Manchester United, but since then has not only become a key member of the team but has also represented England at Euro 2016.
His success story got even better on Sunday (August 28) after he scored a last-minute winner against Hull.
So much so, in fact, that Red Devils’ fans decided they had to create a chant for their talented forward.
And – surprisingly – it is pretty good.
It includes his place of birth as well as switching from high to low notes – all while rhyming – in just four lines:
“From Wythenshawe and loves to fight,
“He’s born to play, in red and white,
“So listen close, it must be said.
“Like Manchester, Rashford is red.”
The 18-year-old has scored nine goals in 20 appearances for Manchester United, since his memorable debut, scoring a brace in the Europa League.
Now earning £25,000 a week, the footballer recently moved his mum into a new mansion to thank her for teaching him to kick a football.
He plans to also have a £1million home built nearby.
