One of the men was further arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.
The stewards in question were not seriously hurt and did not require hospital treatment.
Footage later emerged on social media of fans arguing with stewarding staff before being thrown out in the area close to block 114, which neighbours the London Stadium's away end.
The fans in question were dealt with swiftly as police and other stewards sought to control the situation.

West Ham's ground was plagued by crowd trouble after its opening last season, with 48 fans banned after trouble during their EFL Cup tie against Chelsea.
But the issues have widely calmed down since.
On the pitch, West Ham beat Watford 2-0 for their first win since the mid-January FA Cup victory over Shrewsbury Town.
Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic got the goals for the home side.
