Neil Warnock has told his players they must embrace the dark side if they are to threaten Manchester City with a shock FA Cup fourth-round defeat on Sunday.
'Devilment' — to use Warnock's own word — was exactly what was lacking from Cardiff in their goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
'Liverpool showed City can be beaten if you are prepared to go at them,' said Marko Grujic, the Reds midfielder after his Bluebirds loan debut.

Cardiff boss Warnock was unhappy to leave with only a point, even though Wednesday ended up spurning by far the better chances.
'We'll have a go at City and if we get beat, so what?' said Warnock.
Defender Jazz Richards even talked about Cardiff 'stamping their authority' on Pep Guardiola's team.
He said: 'We're not fazed. We'll be out to enjoy it.'
Warnock believes that is exactly the attitude Cardiff missed during a dreadful December that threatened to wreck his hopes of an eighth career promotion.
Now he sees signs of the right spirit returning: 'There's a bit of devilment coming back.'
Notice only 'a bit'. More is needed on Sunday.
