Albion also have interest in Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings plus Richmond Boakye at Red Star Belgrade and Aleksandar Mitrovic of Newcastle.

Watford have indicated they will listen to offers for Deeney as they are keen on Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe.

The 29-year-old has played regularly for Marco Silva this season, but his future is in doubt with the Hornets manager keen on freshening up his forward line.

Deeney is club captain and been one of Watford’s key players in recent years but he has scored just twice so far this season and Silva is now prepared to part with the fans favourite, though Watford will demand in the region of £25m.
